We had a pretty stressful mold situation pop up, and Mike from Not your Average Mold Guys  came through for us in the best way. Their crew was super professional, easy to talk to, and made the whole process feel manageable. The owner is genuinely a great guy, straightforward, helpful, and clearly more interested in doing the right thing for our home than trying to charge top dollar.

I really appreciated how they took the time to explain what needed to be done and why, without pushing anything extra. Everything they recommended actually made sense, and you could tell they cared about getting it done right.

After our home had water damage that turned into mold, I called several companies with detailed questions. Mike from Not Your Average Mold Guys immediately stood out—he was extremely knowledgeable, had multiple certifications, and clearly cared about the work. That gave me confidence to hire him, and I’m so glad I did.

Mike and his team quickly identified what needed to be done, set up proper containment, handled demo, eradicated the mold, and left the space spotless. They then coordinated certified contractors to handle the rebuild (floors, cabinets, painting, countertops), all under warranty. Throughout the process, Mike communicated clearly, was always professional, and finished everything in a timely manner.

The basement was flooded in a home that I had just closed on and was still in the process of moving into. When I discovered the water I called NYAMGs and they had someone come to my house within a couple of hours, late in the evening to do moisture readings and confirm the damage. They were able to get started on removal of the carpet and impacted drywall early the next morning and got everything set up to dry it out quickly. Kevin and his team did an amazing job and cleaned up everything when they were done as well. kevin owens was absolutely amazing. we very unexpectedly found black mold and a leak in our basement. mike got us set up and connected with Kevin and we could not be more grateful. we were quickly able to schedule and inspection and remediation after that. kevin and his team were incredibly thorough with the entire process and took the extra steps to make sure the mold was remediation properly. its a scary experience but we are so grateful for all the help, professionalism and personal touch this company and kevin provided. definitely a peace of mind knowing our home and children are safe now

Excellent service and responsive to the situation. Kevin, Joey, and the crew got to work right away and knew what they were doing. The whole process was timely and they understood the stress mold in the home can cause. They have contacts to take you through the entire process starting with the abatement and teardown, and then onto the rebuild as well as writing a report if you need it, which I did. I highly recommended them.
